This picture here was taken during a walk on the Loch Affric circuit. Glen Affric is often described as the most beautiful glen in Scotland, stretches for 30 miles from Kintail in the west to Cannich in Strathglass.

This was taken on one of my toughest hikes so far on Good Friday (also Earth Day)!! Really glad I camped for 2 nights in Glen Affric as I was shattered after this one. Seen some absolutely amazing views of Glen Affric and the surrounding Glens and mountains!! Climbed Càrn Eige, the tallest mountain in Northwest Highlands and the second-tallest mountain in the British Isles by prominence. Also included the twin summit Mam Sodhail and the very inaccessible mountain Beinn Fhionnlaidh.
