The Slacks sunset

I’ve cycled up the Kilpatrick Braes a few times for the sunset and for the spectacular views over Glasgow and the River Clyde!! The view of the Slacks are truly stunning!!! It’s amazing to think all the years going to those hills, I was oblivious whilst watching the sunset, that this rock formation is on the other side of the same hill. It’s a pretty impressive route and the summit is only like 3 to 4 miles from Glasgow.

Burncrooks reservoir

Taken during an enjoyable hike to Auchineden hill and Burncrooks reservoir. I was treated with clear blue skies and snowy mountains!!! Seen cracking views when descending to the reservoir with the sun reflecting on the water!! Then had a nice stroll around the reservoir while admiring beautiful distant views of the Southern Highlands!! Before heading back up to Auchineden hill.
